Out of curiousity, does the plugin version load as a VST3 yet?

Not yet.

Have been testing some smaller features and noticed many colours cannot be changed on front panel. All of these cannot be changed: the ones with the default X cannot be changed.

I encounter no issue changing them.

Only works when clicking the top one first:

I tested several projects, always the same result.
If a colour exists, then it can be adjusted, if no colour the sliders do nothing. But I would say that adjusting the sliders should change to the colour selected via sliders. So if no colour, ie, default, then adjusting sliders other than colour bar should do something, like changing the default colour. Or users will think something is not working, like I just did. Either that, or have a note to say select top bar to set colour first. Of, course, I am assuming, the way it is working is considered normal behaviour?

Also, text seems to be truncated even when the front panel module is wide enough

Currently such custom parameter labels are limited to max 15 chars.

Is there a reason for the limitation? Seems a bit low when you consider the flexibility offered in MuLab? Perhaps, at least, double this?

When i looked it up due to your question, also i was a bit amazed to find this limit. Don't remember why it was chosen, possibly i mistakenly only took knobs/vertical sliders into account at that moment. It will be doubled in the next update.
