Interesting... So it's not even done yet, and could conceivably still add more features or fixes between now and the release in March?
Thoughts on the public beta?

I really like the idea of a public beta. And yes, it could be another way to get more features added and bugs removed. I hope it's open at least to all version 1 owners.
Also, I wonder if when it's available, if they could have a download section for the program itself. They will have to do this for updates anyway. Then they could send us the CD with the full spectrum of plugs and features. I guess if it's alot bigger in size though it may be expensive on server space. We'll see!

I suspect it's going to be for the public.
Just a guess.
I'm quite excited by it, as my hopes for T2 had nothing to do with the plug-ins listed in the first place. I'm eager to give the loop recording a test spin!
Also, people with an eye for colour will be able to come up with their own colour schemes and share them around. I know, I know... such a small thing... but it'll be fun!

Ron,
The nice thing about public betas is that you can offer them to anyone, those who purchase or not.
Now, it may not be optimized. And it will probably expire completely once the product comes out. But it can potentially make T2 a VERY stalbe app. But even if someone tried to use it as their main app, it wouldn't be worth it.
So don't look at this as a bad thing if they offer it to the public.
I do think that they should give us a chance to pre-buy, and get the beta first, and without limitations.
