It is really good. It's a shame that there seems to be some people who demand the synth be something it isn't, which I think is missing the point. It does what it does really well and is a lot of fun! Not $200 fun, but when on discount, why the hell not?

Ahh..but that's the point...it IS a 200 dollar synth. Expected a tad extra for that kind of money. @99 it is more than fine

BONES wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2026 12:30 am I am absolutely loving it. It is the first time in ages I've spent multiple hours just creating patches, both from scratch and by tweaking some of the factory patches. I think it helps that there's a standalone version because I can just fire it up when I've got a spare 10 minutes and see what I can get out of it. Standalone softsynths are highly under-rated, I reckon. But yeah, it was never a $200 VSTi, that price is just taking the piss.
That's really good to hear, thank you. 8) I love getting into that deeply focused flow, to the exclusion of all else... been 'ages' for me to (re: w/soft-synths) and precisely why I prefer 'standalone' synths as well. I definitely agree they are underrated. :tu:

I've used this to facilitate that, since forever:

That's looking at it arse-backwards. It is what it is, what you should be complaining about is the price, not the product. i.e. It's a fantastic product, the problem is that it is too expensive.

Do UVI do sales very often? I've not paid them any attention over the years.

Falcon seems to be on sale very regularly, at half price, so it's probably fair to assume that $99 will be the 'real' price of Rumble.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

I agree... I think it's a cool bass synth while acknowledging it's limitations compared to other synths. I missed the intro price sadly so I'll wait for a sale.
However, as you pointed out it's not worth $200.

Yesterday there was a sale (14 July, French national holiday), $30 off. When they still had the intro price, and with that discount applied, I would have bought it. But for $ 199, or $169, no thanks.

UVI does sales regularly. Sign up for the newsletter if you're worried about missing one. They won't spam you. New products and sales seem to be the only times they send them (as it should be).

Nope. It doesn't matter from which way you look at it. They can do 2 things; since it is 199, i expect more features for that kind of money. So, they can either build upon what they have now and build in more (unique) features, or lower the price. It is actually quite simple 😊

I feel like this thread went to an ugly place, and that might taint your experience with the synth, so I'll be more than happy to take it off anybody's hands at/near the intro price if you'd like.

:hyper:

(For real tho.)

Actually, there is a third alternative you missed. They can just ignore you.

dig up an old mix to listen on my new monitors, and decided the bass instrument should be replaced. Copied the MIDI, rifled through some Rumble presets, found one close and adapted it. POW!

I still dig Beatsurfing LOW on certain types of bass sounds, but it's a bit more limited and unpredictable than Rumble. LOW is more of a 'happy accident' machine whereas Rumble is great when you're trying to build something specific. They complement each other very nicely.

Oh, i am sure they will just ignore it. But that is not a solution to the users problem 😉
