Hi there, today I downloaded Ozone 8 Elements from the Izotope legacy page.

But then, attempting to use your license with it, a dialog box appears saying that "the serial number you've entered is already in use by another account."

I also don't mind paying for the damn thing, but there's no option for that.

Any advice is appreciated.

Someone else must have already registered it. Currently only Ozone 12 Elements is available. It was on sale for $29 in April.

The problem with that is, different versions are not recognized. Something about a changed architecture. If you try using ozone elements 9-12 with an old project that had Elements 8, it will show as a missing plugin.

Do you know if Ozone Elements will go on sale anytime soon, or is everything up in there after the BorisFX acquisition?

My pops is looking for a quick/easy fake mastering option after another software option stopped working

I’ve passed up so many free or cheap elements offers in the past, plus have one register alongside advanced.

They made it sound like nothing will be disrupted, but I currently don't see any iZotope sales scheduled.

For some time Izotope have been overpriced, and upgrades shameless priced IMHO

AFAIK BorisFX, their DNA is high prices, and only moderate and rare sales, if any

So I would not expect any good sales like back in the time, or better pricing in general

Vegas Pro, same, so just like RX, no upgrade here either, but moving to Davinci Resolve

elements is often for sale on this forum for around 4-5 dollars

I believe it was until July 31st, so it should still be on sale. It was an e-mail only offer, which I provided the link to.
