Again, not sure if this is MuLab's correct behaviour or whether something else could be causing this. It may be a Kirnu Cream issue, but I have found it to be repeatable. At first I thought it was my plugin, but I eliminated that from the midi input AND output, but the issue still happens.
If you set up a Mux like this:
NOTE: I am NOT playing any notes and the meters are playing, showing stuck notes.
Log File:
Play Cream, not sure if any arp would work yet, then click the bypass buttons to toggle them on and off a couple times, you'll get stuck notes. I know, likely you'll say, that should not be done. But as I am testing to figure out the issue, it may actually be that it is MuLab?
It seems that just playing Cream can get make stuck notes appear?
As stated, I thought it was my plugin, but found no output from that into the Event Monitor, so kept trying to get it working so clicking Panic in my plugin silences those stuck notes. I finally did it. But then I tested Cream on its own, ie, not loaded inside my Host, the problem remained.
The way I see it, there are two possible issues here:
1. MuLab does not silence these stuck notes on clicking the MuLab Panic button via Right-click/Play.
2. The fact this can happen would not be good for a live situation in the first place. So it may need looking into.
I found that clicking any Panic button did not work, MuLab, Cream or PHI (my host). But I did manage to get my host to send Panic downstream so it does silence it, but I think this should really be done by ML itself, I'm guessing it should do, but seems to be failing somewhere. The only way I can silence these notes is reattaching PHI and then clicking its Panic button, literally nothing else works.
To be fair, I don't know Cream so maybe I missed something that causes this, but any preset seems to cause stuck notes. But the Hold button is not engaged and you can see the Cream arp is not actually doing anything when you let go of a note.
I then checked Cream's manual and found this at the beginning:
I assume that’s unrelated and fixed by now?
I know this is an old and very outdated plugin now, so maybe this issue is due to that? But I think it may need dealing with.
Possible MuLab Panic issue?

Just tested again with ARPG8R, it still can cause stuck notes, but MuLab successfully mutes them. So this is likely a Kirnu Cream issue?
