Did you get a chance to try this with the latest update? It should be sorted now, but I couldn't fully test it on my end. I'm pushing another update later today with even more refined aftertouch, plus MPE support.

Anybody else using with Push 3 have any issues?
Hi, just got back from a trip, and testing now.

It's better, but still not correct.

Using patch : kb sweet dreams when adding more than one note the sound breaks up.

I’m almost there! Have to stop myself soon. I think you will like this one :)

Hey everybody, the biggest update yet just got uploaded!

What's new in 2.3:
Full MPE support. Seaboard and other MPE controllers now get real per-note pitch, pressure and slide, and you choose what pressure does: swell the note, drive the modulation matrix, or both.

The rest:
- Aftertouch that behaves on any keyboard. The strike spike no longer misfires it, and your calibration stays put while you browse.
- A deeper modulation matrix: bipolar depths, FM and both LFOs (rate and depth) as targets, and a pitch envelope for punch and 808 drops.
- A new physically-modelled exciter: a plucked string or modal ping struck into the convolution body, from a touch of attack to a full plucked voice.
- Preset packs: drop a .strangpack on to install a collection, switch banks, import and export presets.
- A big GUI performance fix on Windows, and a long list of small ones.

Free update for everyone who owns it. A lot of this came straight out of this thread, so thank you.

Lovely !! I can attest to the Aftertouch being much smooth, and more musical feeling now. Thanks for this update. Interested in the new plucked strings. New banks feature + import/export sounds like there's going to be more presets so this is really great news. Thanks for your hard work here.

Quick question while just trying the demo. I see you can tie vibrato depth/strength to the mod wheel. Is there any setting for the vibrato rate?

Is STRÄNG v2.3 MPE compatible with NI Kontrol v3 polyphonic aftertouch?
Amazing synthesizer …

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

This is a very basic thing that I keep forgetting to add! Thanks for the reminder :) It'll be there in the next little update. The mod wheel vibrato is kind of its own thing, not tied to the LFOs.

Yes it is! I just shipped an update that handles exactly that. I don't have an NI keyboard here myself, but I've tested it with other users on their hardware, so it should be solid. Grab the trial and hit me back if anything acts up.

And thank you, that means a lot :)

I do. It supports poly aftertouch from the Kontrol mkIII. It also supports MPE with MPE capable keyboards, but the NI keyboard is not a MPE keyboard, only poly AT

YES it does! Once I remembered to switch on MPE in OUTPUT …

Then I spent 15 dreamy minutes with PD Crying Droid, keeping a stable bass drone in the left hand a plaintive, moving flute in the right … :hyper: I guess I'll have to dig out my ol' Roli Seaboard 25 …

STRÄNG is a an adventure – a poor man's OSMOSE, in fact! Even the GUI is a source of inspiration. Thank you for creating this work of art, Jonas!
