That's great if you were lucky enough to purchase it when the company was still around. The rest of us are still looking for our savior.

Ive spent the last two days using a 20$ claude subscription to port the githhub repositories over to arm64 mac. Today I got the plugin working, all modules are in tact and functioning 100%.

Still need a week or two to iron out glitches and fully work the code out so that it doesnt crash at all. But legit Ill post an update on here when that happens. This plugin is ultra dank :borg:

I miss it. Still have it installed on an old windows laptop but haven’t bothered with that machine in ages. Looking forward to your update

Any chance the Claude wave can help porting it to Linux as well? And as vst3? :)

Post

its been a literal pain porting this to arm64. mainly due to outdated juce frameworks and needing to convert old structures to new ones. I think you could likely build a linux port way easier with claude or any other compatible coding tool.

I'm about to run out of usage and will likely have to wait another week on any legit progress. The vst is running but my daw "renoise" crashes when I close the plug or change presets. I'm not a dev as much as I am a dude who really wants these tools to make some mental sounds. Ill post any info asked after I make a legit build and upload it somewhere for download but I def have zero time or patience to make another build.

It is generally advisable to do as much work as you can without any "AI" helpers, especially when it comes to porting software to other platforms. It makes sense to actually understand what's going on, and "AI" usually does neither know nor understand subtle details of historically grown code you throw at it.

Yes, it's "easier". Until it's not.

Your mileage may vary.
if "ai work" is work, having dinner in a restaurant is cooking

Definitely true. I lack the understanding required at all to dev any sort of software. Regardless I wanted this tool. The tool is functional for rendering out audio but still buggy, If I manage to debug it to a working state ill post it somewhere with an update here for others to enjoy.

Maybe you could just throw the current state somewhere we can find it. I'm sure I'm not the only software developer with too much free time on KVR. :)

Yes, I will beta test :) I wonder if my factory presets are included in the build..

Pic in attachement

There is a cinningbao folder in presets

Im legit just some guy so it will take a while to have a good thorough build. going to post what I have somewhere when I get a chance later today. Still going to debug it on my end because it seems there are only two legit bugs to work out in the code before its stable after testing thoroughly.

I'm going to be busy for like 12 hours likely, living in the west coast of the
U.S. and have a lot of work away from home and my debugging setup today. Ill post what I have very soon
