Also i had few loud bursts while switching variation that were always reproducable.
For 50$ it would be instant buy, but lacking stability is not worth 150$, even if everything else is really great and outstanding :(
I experienced the exact same thing:-/ Im on a workstation Thinkpad, 48GB Ram, Intelcore i7 2.80 ghz and with PAM added to a session but not running preset or anything like that the CPU usage is / would be off the charts. I still havent been working properly with PAM but I uninstalled the `full`version with all samples and presets. I then did a clean install using the program-only installer installer and it seems to have brought PAMs cpu usage wayyyyyyyyyyyyy down :phones:

We are looking at building a ASIO driver.. can't promise anything but we do recognise performance improvement can be made on win.

Hey win users,

Apologies for the late update!

A bespoke ASIO driver is being worked on and should be available soon. That will reduce CPU a touch and latency quite a bit from what I understand.

In the meantime, both platform users, don't forget to get the latest version; big bug fixes, back-end framework efficiencies and prepping for some new fx (check the new Gain/Clip cell effect)

@herzihelmut - CPU load is slowly being reduced; maybe have a look at the latest release and see how that performs?

Sounds great! I managed to reduce the CPU load a little by only installing the software but its nowhere near enough to make me wanna use the plug for anything. Its just too laggy and clunky!

Im on win 10 intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 2.80GHz, 48,0 GB ram

The latest standalone is working pretty nicely for me on win 11 with ASIO and Core i5... :tu:
