Begging for improved timestretch

Please Beno or Jules, tell us that the lack of even mentioning time stretching on the official T2 page was just a silly oversight. After all, T1 touted time-stretch as a feature.
Please? It's really there right? We can all let go of our old copies of Acid or ReCycle and do things nice and tidy in T2, right? Like it was promised in T1?
The claim of included time-stretch in T1 is what made me sit up and take notice of T1 in the first place - I've fallen in love with the GUI after using it - but I'm still waiting for a reasonable time stretch app - let me say +/- 10% of speed without smearing or stuttering, and I'll be oh so happy.
Beno, about 2-3 weeks ago when the striptease began, you stated that you were not forgetting about us 1-track-at-a-time hacks. Well, we are here waiting, and wanting to buy plugins on our own time - I don't like buying them bundled.

but i'm no more addicted to this strip-tease thingie....
i'll wait until a beta or a release will out..then i'll decide...but i've to admit that my hopes are very low
..unless they clarify that 'and many more' at the end of feature list

Jules probably doesn't want to spend time working on the DSP for timestretching. There's better things he could be working on instead. So, I think it would be best for him to license something like MPEX. For some reason, though, I just get the feeling that isn't going to happen.

I like that elastique algo used in FL. Maybe he could licensense that one. Jens recommended a long time ago and Jules sayd he thought it was interesting.Warmonger wrote:Jules probably doesn't want to spend time working on the DSP for timestretching.
