Anyone KNOW if the added plugins are full versions or not?

Or if they are stripped down, or worse yet, trial versions that stop working after a month? Just curious....

A lot of them seem to be freeware or demo versions which seems very lame to me. I'm not saying that T2 won't kick ass, but to include and even boast about including these free things anyone can legally get off the internet is pretty weak.

The people that give away these light versions have a reason for it.
They hope you will upgrade to the full version.

No, these are not all demo versions. The Amplitube and Sampletank are stripped down versions, but they are not demos. They are the same versions released with Digidesign hardware. It doesn't say anywhere that anything here is a demo version. I don't know how someone can say that they seem to be demo versions, when there is nothing that says anything like this anywhere.
Why does nobody get this? People just seem to try and find something to complain about, and without knowing the facts.

RMIV will also be a full version, along with the Bismark soundfont player. I'll still be using sfz for my soundfonts, but at least it's another option especially for people who still think they need a Creative card to use soundfonts.
Much of the other stuff is readily-available freeware. There won't likely be many (or any) other heavy-hitters, or they probably would have been announced. But you never know.

I think if everybody stopped thinking that the next release of their chosen software will be the holy grail then there wouldn't be so much grief over it.
Every time some software gets new version, the supporters say it'll be best thing since sliced bread. It never is, and then 6 months down the line everyone is moaning about what is still missing or what they want next.
Contentment is a foreign concept to the digital music production community. Me included, i've tried enough different things to know that the holy grail simply doesn't exist, and it never will do.
Perhaps if people actually tried to make some music instead of complaining about some missing feature, we might get something decent into the charts

REALLY. RMIV will be the FULL version? Kits, grooves, and all? As I stated in another thread, I'm not claiming it's going to come with all the kits. I also don't have any evidence beyond what we all know. I think it'll come with a selection of kits.

Seriously, if RM-IV is the full version, that and the step sequencer justify the $200 tag alone, not to mention Amplitude SE (eh), or Sampletank LS (double eh), or any of the already free stuff (probably will not see the light of my hard drive). But, RM-IV, I got to, got to, know.

Then it's not the full version if it doesn't come with all the kits. The full version of RM IV with kits is approx 1.2 GB. I wrote to Linplug to ask, but I am not sure the answer is for posting on a public forum... Why not write yourself to Beno or someone at Mackie to ask if RMIV is full version or not?
I find it highly unlikely that T2 will come with the full package that linplug sells for $149, though, don't you all?
