Anyone KNOW if the added plugins are full versions or not?

As long as Final Mix is there and working for OSX and Windows I'm happy. Anything else is a bonus.

Sorry I have been away for a while. The plugs are the full versions. RMIV is th full two CD version for example. But, like Final Mix, they will only work in Tracktion.
I hope that clarifies things.

Yes! I'm so looking forward to Slayer2, been meaning to buy that one anyway... RMIV will be nice too - though I really don't need it.

Beno, I owe you and anyone else at Mackie who wants one a beer.Beno wrote:Sorry I have been away for a while. The plugs are the full versions. RMIV is th full two CD version for example. But, like Final Mix, they will only work in Tracktion.

RMIV is my new favourite toy from playing with the demo, after hearing it's being bundled with T2. I like it a lot.
Agg, now comes the waiting ...
Oh, and how will this work for upgrades? I don't much fancy downloading 2 cds from the Mackie website

So are we going to see some eating of words, or will those that were so confidently proclaiming their knowledge over the last few days just quietly forget that they ever said anything?Beno wrote:Sorry I have been away for a while. BTW, this is pretty cool, and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on RMIV.

i mostly just rewire reason - but even so the inclusion of tracktion only versions of high quality stuff like rmiv is ery nice indeed - i'll definately jump on that i reckon (although i've not been completely happy with t's handling of multi out vsti's).

I hope Makie/Jules have talked to ConcreteFX and Jorgen (EnergyXT).
MicroDicer would be perfect for the peeps (me included) who have asked for loop tools.
Kubik is definately worth looking at too. Seriously powerful but very user freindly.
EnergyXT seems to be heading towards live playing. It would give Live 4 or Project 5 a run for their money.

KVR has some of the smartest peeps in music software so it would be a waste to make all this talent go to waste.

jorgen and jon are great names and great guys. i think however that they're better off making their own money the way they are. i can't see the point in them being bundled with Tracktion at all, their plugins add functionality to tracktion (and any host) already as it is.
personally i strongly believe that eXT should stay separate from tracktion, it's perfect as it is (in an ever improving kinda way) and loads of us use it on top. but it is also independant and works well for people as a single entity.
this is not even remotely the point you were trying to make, so don't worry about telling me that! i just haven't contributed at all so felt like bustin an opinion out for kicks.

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
