Hi all
check out this thread on Instruments
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 955#928955
I was able to install a simple Wave player on Receptor and now I can load drum loops and jam to them on receptor. Still have to try the other players mentioned on that thread, but this really brings in some cool live application for receptor!
basically install a wave player. Copy loops to the sample DIR on Receptors hard drive. Load the samples from the wave player, and save it as a preset. You can have a huge library of loops and hits at your disposal just by changing presets. WOW!!
Time to get out those CM CD's and look for nice loops and hits to use on receptor!

Ok..This works on Receptor:

an MP3 player, and it loops!!!
Use the sample dir on receptor's HD to put in your MP3's. You could even create MP3's from your own material, minus a few instruments for a backing..and have it play in the background on Receptor in digital format! heck...you could even add effects to it
Lots of potential here! Hardly any CPU usage as well!

...indeed!
I use this method on my tour live gigs as well!
Very comfortable and effective!
I'll see if there's another plugin that could be "abused"..
