Hi, It seems people still are asking if Tracktion is used at the pro level. So I thought I would chime in. I just finished cutting the audio for 5 radio commercials and 3 tv commercials. All done %100 in tracktion. I then dumped the audio in to Premiere to sync to video (T2 can do video sync WHOO!) As far as doing voice over in does not get any faster that T! I love the abort and restart function. Editing is very fast and playing with plugins very easy. The radio spots are just as good if not better than all the other spots around them. So there you have it. Another example of Tracktion at the PRO level!

Just finished using Tracktion (vers.1 and 2) on the new series of the BBC comedy science-spoof "Look Around You" - it was used as the primary sound design tool throughout the series, for creating effects such as a 1980s ghost materialiser summoning up a holograms of a dead composer, a race-prediction computer built by a horse, an Olympic runner breaking the sound barrier, a Chinese medical robot and a giant mechanical door...

Couldn't (and wouldn't) have done it on anything else!

Nicely done and thanks for sharing, Phillip and Chriss.

djsubject-- surely it's MORE work typing in non-standard English than just speaking normally?

Wow, Tracktion was used on Look Around You? Did you also score the first series? It contained some really great Boards Of Canada-esque music (as well as being bloody hilarious to those of us who recall educational programs of the early eighties.)
