Sorry for the delayed reply annode and grilla, but thanx for the encouraging comments.
@annode: Yeah, sure I have heard the man but not with a particular focus. In fact the only guitar player that I have somehow "studied" (with questionable results
) is SRV
Thanx again guys
PS blipp, how is it going, any results?

Yeah I know blipp, at least I jam in a studio every thursday(1) with my band and that's the only practise for me. But don't go crazy with the technique. It's helpful to have it but if your musical brain works your fingers will follow.
(1) Now I realize why I haven't produced any thursday.mp3

Good noodling and feel. Nice to see a fellow soul guitar dude here. Refreshingly basic guitar sound and style. Get's the point across so much better.
Definitely a gem among all the synth drone infested IDM and whatnot around here.

Thanx for the kind words Kingston. I have the impression (from the amplitube 2 thread) that you are an amphead so hope you noticed the recording notes in page one of this thread.
It's expected to have more Synth drones in a vst focused forum and I have enjoied many of them. I have a folder full of trax by Vurt, normal, and opiadream and I still owe them a review.Definitely a gem among all the synth drone infested IDM and whatnot around here.

zeoy, i've finaly done that guitar track over your backing track, but it's no where near as good as you'rs. I'm more out of practice than i thought. All this electronica has made me neglect the guitar playing too much i think.
It's only an excerpt as it was just too painful to listen to
Anyone with a musical disposition should avoid this like the plague.
It's apropriatly called "Blues disaster". Click my sig below.
Ps: This is definitely coming down asap to protect the innocent.
