I've just tried the version of Eve appearing in this month's Computer Music.
Initially I can load and play Eve in Tracktion, but if I try to record, or use a midi clip to play Eve, my CPU hits max whilst emitting a crack noise.
I'm running Windows XP SP2, 512Mb RAM, XP1800+. I don't seem to have problems running other VSTs.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Alan

Can't really help as I haven't bought CM for quite a while. All I can say is all the CM plugs I've tried have been pretty buggy, at least on their first release.. SR202 os the only one I've really found a use for, but even that hasn't been turned on for a ages as I've become rather fond of 24bit samples..

I'd say that it's worth having. Some of the sounds are great. The only limitation seems to be in the number of soundsets you get with it.
I've also seen on the CM forum that you can download extra stuff.
I'm going to try it in energyXT to see if it works any better that way.
