didnt have a chance to get to namm after all but these two features are huge for me. i mean its kinda rediculous to be working on a song with 25 + tracks with the current layout. from the new screenshot, it didnt look like these have been implemented yet.
beno, did this make it in?
oh yeah, midi ghost clips too?

Track folders would be really, really useful.
But then again...
Im using EXT as my "studio" and Trackton as my mixer/cutting table. Thank <insert favorite imaginary friend> for racks!!!

Yes, too bad this seems not to have made it in v2.0.
Maybe in an update.
It is a must-have feature for managing professional projects and since Mackie aims more torwards the Pro-market and surely wants to attrackt Logic-users on Mac, it will be only be a question of time i guess. I hope.

Here's a question--
How do you think they handled loop recording mode if not with some sort of folders?
I'm not saying I know anything one way or another, and none of the -current- evidence points to track folders as we may recognize them in, say, eXT. I'm just wondering what people' speculation is... do you think they've just assigned each new 'loop pass' to an entirely new track? That would suck, but I don't imagine that's what it's going to be. Surely during beta, somebody would have noted how cumbersome that would be.
Why not just wait for T2 to be released? I mean, it's not that far off. I can say for sure that I'm buying it, so I'll happily report on this and any other features for people to whom it will be a deciding factor.

The way I want lockable track sizes to work would be just to use the little lock icon on the track properties. Just change the size and hit the little lock. That would make things MUCH easier for me because I zoom in and out A LOT to edit things so its kind of a pain when all the tracks sizes are reset each time I zoom out. I just need some tracks out of the way sometimes.
Folders, I wish they were there but I know they take a long time to get working right. I remember all the problems I had with SX and folders. So they better take their time if they're gonna implement good folders.
