Short cut for live/ mixing latency change in main window

I'm pretty much changing between recording (need low latancy) to mixing (high latency) all the time. Each time this happens I have to flick to the settings tab (slow) change the latency/ sound card then change back again (slow).
proposal:
Have a button on the main edit screen that toggles between two sound card/ latency settings that the user has already set called 'live' and 'mixing'.
The button toggled on 'live' should be green and the 'mixing' toggle should be brown/ orange!

I'm not sure Tracktion has that much control over all soundcards: I have to launch the Delta Control Panel to change mine for example.

maby you try girder. it's a tool to remotecontrol nearly everything on your windows pc. so you can assigne global shortcuts for switching the latency in the soundcard control panel. it's a bit complicated (the program) but if you are in, it's great for everything. i control tracktions record functins with an old infrared remotecontrol and a 5$ selfmade infrared receiver

chainging the latincey on my sound card seems to make no difference in tracktion for me only the slider in tracktion makes a difference, shurley this idea can be applyed to that latincey controler
