Do we just get it all at once now? A couple questions Beno..

I only ask because since the first day of NAMM, there's been a bit of quiet around here. I'm assuming that we are just getting the rest of the features when the demo is released.

So, Beno, when the demo comes available, will we be able to buy? Or do we have to wait until March for the release? Also, is anything downloadable? Can we authorize the demo as before? I hope so, then we can wait for our box and CD's in the mail.

If it will be a while, is there any way of keeping the hype up around here by releasing a few more features for us to chat about? I hope so. If not, then I patiently await my T2. Thanks Beno.

I was kind of getting sick of the 'hype', but at the same time it made for a lot of activity on this side of the forum. ;) I'm of mixed opinion. :D

I'm glad it's a bit quieter now. At least I can spend my 10 posts per day (average) on some other forums.

On the other hand, there are a few questions that remain unanswered... and the striptease page still features the legend "And many more..."

Some clarification would be useful here. Was the NAMM announcement the complete feature set, or just a reiteration of those already revealed through the striptease? (plus the plug bundle)...

No doubt all will soon be revealed... 8)

I'm getting more and more interested to know the real release date.

I'm about to start a soundtrack project, and I'd like to wait for T2 so I could do it all in one package, as opposed to eXT and T1.

I thought we had all the features now? The current feature list seems quite reasonable considering that it has been a little under a year since the last update, and there is only one man doing the coding (as far as I know).

Post

Your idea of a little under a year is a bit different from mine. The last Tracktion update was July 15th 2004. That's 6 months ago.
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

Please note that I have been away from this scene for a few days, so I have probably missed a lot of news. For example has the download price for those who purchased T1 been revealed? Also I see that these are bunch of bundled plugins I don't need since I already have them or plain just don't want them. Will there be a way to discount these?

Post

Indeed. That update gave us FinalMix, but didn't really expand on the Trackition feature set. Before that there were mostly bugfixes, and racks came around January (?).

Anyways, it just proves my point. The current feature set in 6 months is quite reasonable.

I don't expect more features, but I'm not complaining if we haven't seen everything yet.

Post

Well, we know there are more features to be announced, as there is over 100 new features, and more than 70 plug-ins, which are big numbers compared to what we already know. I only ask because I'm curious.

Yeah, I agree:

a) that the revealed features are a tremendous update as they stand, and you can count me well and truly in for T2 8)

b) that there's a hint of other features yet to be revealed as koolkeys points out

c) that some clarification would be useful at this point, as the striptease has not been updated for a while

Beno, can you let us know about this?

Plus, don't forget that it's not the end of the line for the program-- it's merely the beginning. Like many other softs, there will be 2.1 and who knows, maybe it'll go all the way up to 2.5 and beyond.

It truly is a good time to be a Tracktioneer. I just want to get on with it. I use T every day, and can't wait to try out the new features.
