Oh, Phil Keaggy.
He is aware that God gave him a calling to deliver the Gospel through his music, and for over 30 years, Phil Keaggy has been grateful to do just that, and will hopefully continue to do so for many years to come.
That Phil Keaggy :?

Phil Keggy absolutely rips on guitar. He also was a pioneer of the live recording/playback on stage thing. I also have nine fingers and gave it up 'cause I could never figure out how to bar a chord. I took up keyboard and the rest is history--or it would be, if I was good enough to make history :hihi:

Anyway. Keaggy is one of the finest in anybody's book no matter where he's coming from.

Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

This thread reminded me of the classic line in "The Big Lebowski" Walter screams at the nilests just before hurling a bowling ball at them "Dipshit with a nine toed woman!"

Strictly speaking, he wasn't missing any fingers, but regardless, I think it makes him the best *8* fingered guitarist.

I saw him at the music store before Christmas. He is the local legend. He's still killing it.

Of course, some guitarists sound like they have nine fingers on each hand (i.e. Alan Holdsworth).

I don't doubt it, I just posted that quote to explain why I've likely never heard of him. Got nothin' 'gainst God or the Gospel.
