For example if you could have 36 suspended cymbals instead of 1 wouldn't you want the 36? If you could have 19 snare drums and 21 Glockenspiel mallets wouldn't you rather have that than 1 choice of each?

These are the things I don't get... Libraries such as mine don't have the "Miroslav" name but are 1000% bigger and better and rarely get mentioned. I guess the point I'm trying to make is check out all the options that are out there.

Here are some demos of mine if you are interested:

Donnie - you've got some good stuff for sale including that incredible Solo Flute, but if you purchased all of your libraries you would not have a complete orchestra and you would have cost considerably more than Philharmonik. This product is for the people who want an orchestra on a budget, not for those who want 100 velocity layers of snare drum.

It's no surprise that more of these products are coming out because there's a demand from those who can't afford the big libraries to get a reasonable quality orchestra for a much less expensive price tag.

I may well buy this product because I like the company, I like the engine and I want an orchestra on a budget like the next guy.

But I also will slowly buy bits and pieces of other libraries where I find exceptional quality at a reasonable price. DC Solo Flute for example.

if you have the time going to internet forums why not answering my emails and taking care of the case. :x

I still don't have anything either... and Donnie don't reply to emails...
Martin Nadeau does but Cannot really do anything.
Donnie, i'm very very disapointed with your support !

Sorry that's not the subject of this thread...
But donnie, that maybe the reason why you don't have the succes you think you should have...

Yeah - pretty big difference between a $300.00 orchestral percussion set and a $500.00 full orchestra.

And even the $500.00 full orchestra is too expensive for most people to really consider. Heheh, me included :P this is sad... I'm never going to be able to get an orchestral library :(

So, Mr. Christian, your problem is probably not kids who say "Oooooh, Miroslav, must buy! All the PROOOOS use it!" because it's too expensive for them anyway - as is your stuff. I'd tend to think that most professionals who are in the market actually care enough about sound and quality to take a look at the actual quality, except for that rich talentless bunch, in reference to which I think you have a point. "Haha, no REAL composer uses anything but VSL Platinum - you're wasting your time if you think you make REAL music with anything but that!"

ha, i dont think it's all about the gigs available. there will always be a monopoly of film soundtracks in the hands of a few great composers. dont let that discourage you! but at least now it's possible to make a demo. it wasnt so easy before to sound convincing.

and dont forget about a new market for video game soundtracks as well as the growth in independant filmmakers as digital film technology has been improving.
