well, this is my first post here at KVR so, hello's and hi's to everyone. I've been using Tracktion as sort of a backup composing tool because my desktop wasn't accessible for a period of time.
Anyhow, you got my problem in a nutshell. I get stuck notes when I do freeze or any kind of "bounce" or "export" style operation. More specificly, the first note (on 000) of the region I am bouncing gets stuck. All notes coming after are okay.
I guess a workaround would be to shift the loops, but then what's the point of having an "export region" option yeah? So, I'm looking forward to hearing about this. I'm on OS X and newest version of Tracktion. (freshly installed) Did any of you come accross something similar? I searched the forum and found a few similar problems, but not quite exactly the same.

I've not had it happen on region exports, but I get this a lot with some VSTs when there is a note at the very start of an edit.
The usally workaround is to shuffle stuff over. As you say though, for region exports this is somewhat undesirable.
If you do set the regio a little early, does the "trim silence" option get you any further forward?
Other than that, try the 1x render mode - a few vsts play much nicer when not expected to render beyond their normal play speed.

well.. okay, so I guess I do need to manually move the stuff.. so this does seem to be a known issue then. Man, it really makes export region a hassle to use.
thanx for the help guys!

I also get a situation where the first note of say a kick drum track plays louder than the rest even though it is the same volume and velocity as the rest of the notes. Even if I stick a compressor/limiter on the track it still happens.
