Ok, now on a more serious note. You might want to do some searches for "Foley" technique/effects which is the craft of recording sound FX for film and TV.

In the movie Washington Heights, a stabbing scene was accentuated by the sound of a knife cutting into flesh. But the sound wasn't real. It was Joe Diehl, plunging a chisel into a honeydew melon.

yeah it's a pretty hot biz right now if you do it right. a lot of big film guys are not always looking for the "best" sounds but more just "different" from all the major library releases.

with all the people on kvr, and the different environments they live in, one could put together quite the product!
