Fair enough. While I agreed with Ron's first reaction, I'm not aligning myself with his attitude and words on subsequent posts. :)

Just stop trolling, dude. You really need to stop trying to get attention just for the sake of it. Grow up just a bit. You ruin so many discussions.

well i have to say that whilst ron has somewhat gone off kilter for the rest of the thread, he was fair enough with his first comment. same as i thought here, who freakin' cares. yes it would be super, but at the end of the day i'm sure jules is going to try to put some in if he feels that tracktion really WILL benefit from it (it is his software creation after all). there's no need to cry about it just because the first new release doesn't have your features.

i think you were too quick to jump on ron. sure he has a reputation but heck he's entitled to his own opinion just as much as you are.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

I wish the time stratch was better. But I will make music with out it.

It would help with the way I work. Usualy i will record an idea, then cut out a loop, put it into tracktion, and set the tempo acordingly. I find that finding the drum beat is much easier if i have a working loop. I record over it later to get back the live feeling. The problem is that the loop isnt usualy at an exact tempo IE it will be like 88.110. I want to just stretch it a bit to sit at an even tempo like 88.000, even that small amount of time stretch sounds like ass. I can deal because i dont intend to use the loop for the final work, but still its a hassle. If it could be stretched to fit a bar, like live does, it would be alot less work.

Hmmm...... mabey I should just rewire in Live dooohh!

Yup, I think we all agree that it'd be a cool feature. I'm just not going to lose sleep that it's not there in 2.0. Or even 2.1. I have found ways to work around it, and I'll just continue using them.

If Cubase, Logic, and Live4 (apps costing more and working less effectively, in my opinion) did NOT have the feature, would be still be as upset? Probably not. It's just a matter of keeping up with the Joneses. Tracktion has never been one to keep up with the Joneses.

Don't get me wrong. I've put my name on the list of people begging for it! But that doesn't mean I'm going to not get T2. I'll be the first in line on Wednesday. ;)

Same here. It would have been nice, but somehow I've managed this far.

I'm already in line. I've been sleeping there for days ;)

OK, I'm getting a bit more perspective, I'll wait for the demo before getting too set in my opinions.

Furious beggar?

;)

Nah, I believe it was something like... "If begging will help, then count me in," though I didn't actually beg. <chuckle>

Fanboi?

I'm a fan of Tracktion. Not sure how that's supposed to make me feel bad about myself. :?
