Will the lack of an improved timestretch feature in Tracktion 2 delay or stop you from upgrading?

HELL NO!

In fact, I'd upgrade even if there was *nothing* in v2 that I wanted, simply to show my support for Tracktion so that Mackie go on developing it.

IMHO, not upgrading just because "Feature X" didn't make it in is, as the saying goes, like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
