Backing up T1

Hello there.
Probably a dumb question:

I am doing a total system restore in the next few days and the fact that Tracktion 1.6 doesn't have a hard copy has me worried. I bought my license for 80$ and still have the key and all.

But I am really new to this stuff, and so I am wondering: Can I just copy the program files to a c.d. or is there some copy protection that interferes with this? Is T 1.6 still available online in case something goes haywire?

What would one of you expert Tracktioneers do in this case?

if your allready a owner of T1 you can re download the install & chainge the key, if your old one dosent still work, you just need to no your registration details

But depending on if you change your configuration you might have to generate a new key. If that's the case then just login to your account, unregister your old key and generate a new one.
