This may be dumb, but it doesnt seem like my rack filter is working. maybe i'm not using it for the right thing- I want to use Amplitube for my guitar. Guitar in, effected guitar out (into track/speakers). Is this what the rack filter does? Thanks

No need for a rack to do this. Simply drop Amplitube onto the end of your guitar track, drag the relevant audio input to point at that track, and enable the input's end to end setting.

If you DO want to use racks, though-- don't forget to connect the virtual patch cables, and then drag the rack into your track.
Many's the time I've been farting around in a rack going, "Jeeziz, why isn't anything CHANGING?" before realizing that I hadn't dropped an instance of the rack into the track.
