I like this forum because it's such a great resource. You can look up anything here related to DAW's, and find something. What I like about it, is it seems so eclectic. There are people here with diverse interests, knowledge and workflows. Not only have I found out about a lot of great free stuff, I've also gotten in on some great group buys. I'm sure each field of interest has it's own great spot, but for what I like, KVR is just a great place. It took me a while to get passed some of the silly stuff, but I've caught on to it, and find it adds a lot of color to the forum. Thanks to everyone for your contributions.

One of the things I love about KVR (apart from providing all the latest news scarily quickly!) is the atmosphere in the forums. On other forums, you often get a couple of 2000+ post tw*ts who take great pleasure in complaining to new users when a post is made that is similar to an early a post. They'll then give a link to the other post and give them a telling off not to do it again...so fu*ing what if someone posts a similar topic!! Who cares?!
The KVR forums are administered just right - there's the odd topic that's stopped etc.. but it's not too anal unlike many other forums!

However, KvR keeps me happy.
No need for a therapist, the KvR nurse ( you lot know about her yet ?) helps to massage the ups and downs. She keeps it up...

Ya know how I found out about KVR? I read it in the back of a Cubase SX Power book a couple years ago. Funny thing is, I've seen it mentioned in several other books and magazines. The fame of KVR just draws more and more people and once they get here, they're hooked. I used to stop in from time to time and check on the new plugs. Then I started coming daily to read the news. Then I started posting a few things in forums. Then posted a couple tracks. Now I spend way too much time at work reading this forum. Better than actually working I suppose...

I'm sure some of these have already been mentioned, but:
Great layout, I especially love the Top 50 Posts feature.
A large variety of forums.
Developer presence. It is way cool having the people who created the products, available to answer questions.
And the most important one: great people. There are so many knowledgeable folks willing to help out those in need. I've had countless questions answered here at KvR, either by posting or by using the search feature.
I love KvR. It is by far the site I visit most often throughout the day.
