I got it to work, somewhat.
Here's what I did:
Click "racks" to bring up the racks, then click "show one rack" (not necessary but easier to see what you're doing).
I renamed the rack "Mixer" for convenience.
Drag "new filter.." to the rack, and when it asks "Do you want to auto-connect this filter?" say "yes".
That's it for creating the rack, now you must add it to each track: just drag where it says "drag here to insert an instance of this rack" to each track, preferably at the end of the signal chain. If you look at the screenshots on daniel's site, he has deleted the volume/pan and level meter filters from each track (he's using the mixer for those functions). So, I just dragged an instance of the rack to the end of each signal chain, right before the mute/solo filter.
This is where things get tricky. The mixer seems to control only INPUTS. Look at the screenshots on his site, and I know I've set it up correctly. Maybe he can clarify, hopefully in English.

You can translate the site to English.
Just go to:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/
And enter the site to be translated:
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/lesitenm/03page ... mixage.htm
Make sure you select "French To English" and hit go.

Good luck... I'll pass on the mixer
I got so used to not having it that it is just clutter for me at this point.

Sorry for the french language on my site, but... i'm french.
If somebody wants to help me for translate, ok, i'll be happy.
Other thing : in Synthedit and Synthmaker, I'm a NEWBIE !
I've tried Synthedit for the first time at the middle of january. Be cool with me and help me. Example, I dont know to create a solo switch for every track on my mixers...
- Platinumears, what's "schmixer" ?
- Dealwithit, may I use your tutorial on my site ?
- Dealwithit again, my mixers controls actually only outputs, but it's easy to make one that controls outputs, you want ?

slainteWe are thus on the page of the plugins of tables of mixings. It has not been perfect, I know Synthédit only for 3 weeks. I also will discover Synthmaker very quickly (free, yes, yes!), more especially as they are very sympas on their forum. Thank you also with those which nicely answered me on forum K.V.R. of Tracktion when I wanted to know if there were mixers for Tracktion. I did not succeed in yet regulating the problem of the tracks with small button "Solo". If somebody bump with Synthédit and that it has an idea, I am taking. Is necessary to find the good trick. I will arrive there in any event. Choose, read and then download, is not this? It is free. Here the list of what you will find below: In mixing: 1 blue module of 4 tracks without equalisation, 1 green module of 4 tracks without equalisation, 1 blue module of 8 tracks without equalisation, 1 green module of 8 tracks without equalisation, 1 module noir/bois of 8 tracks without equalisation, 1 blue module of 12 tracks with equalisation, 1 light blue module of 16 tracks with equalisation, 1 dark blue module of 16 tracks with equalisation. A BLUE module of 4 tracks: Volume, panoramic, profit, 2 sendings effects, one-off, modulation meter, labels to register the name of the instrument... One can put modules as many as one wants on Tracktion. VST: low consumption of CPU Note: For 800X600 resolution and more. Ideal 1024x768. I will remake it simpler (inside Synthédit), as soon as I have time because I forgot to connect considering-mêtre on the profit and automation is not finished. Moreover, I can make simpler. The buttons are the buttons of origin of Synthedit, vaguely transformed, where found on the Net. If the authors reconnaîssent themselves, I will put the names here, normal! [ knobs are not mine ] See a screenshot How to put in rack with TRACKTION? One can put modules as many as one wants on Tracktion. VST: low consumption of CPU Note: For 1024x768 resolution, at least! Personally, I work with 2 screens, chart dualhead from Matrox. On a side, I have my mixings in 1280x1024, and other, Tracktion, in 1024x768. That does not cost so much that that, and one is largely more at ease. Two remote loadings: the same table of mixing with different tank ID of Synthédit which make it possible to be useful of two tables of 16 tracks at the same time, therefore 32 tracks!

Ok, I've updated my site with Drum machines (for samples).28 output. The next year, I shall try 25569 outputs.

It's from a translator like bablefish. It probably is bablefish.
The translation is ...ahh...usable. All translations of this sort are a bit... funny.
"..volume, panoramic, PROFIT..."
What is this "profit"? Is this where my music makes me wealthy
, or a slot for making donations
, or...?
Maybe it is GAIN?
I'm on my way to take a look at the drum sampler. Thanks.

I knew how to translate the site (I used Google), but it's not really clearly explained how to use the mixer.
I don't understand "it controls outputs"? It seems to me that this MAY be intended to mix as you record? It seems that's the only way it works, unless I'm missing something here. If you set it up the way Daniel has, you don't achieve mixing control over pre-existing tracks (look at the screenshot of the rack and you'll see what I mean). Maybe I just don't know enough about racks to understand what I'm missing.
Daniel, of course you may use my "explanation", but I don't think it helps much. I was just stating what I did, and I'm not sure that I got it to work as intended.
And don't apologize for the French, you're bi-lingual, maybe we should apologize for not being able to read it!
It's not that I'm looking for a mixer to control outputs, I'm looking for a mixer that controls EACH TRACK, like in (ahem) Cubase.

OK, I MUST understand (nice, I'm learning english).
My mixers have many inputs. But...
Do you search a mixer in 16/4/2, for example, as my studiomaster (hardware) ? Or do you search 1 input=1 output. This last aspiration is easy to create, but I'm afraid of miss size on my screen, with all the knobs, if I maintain equalization.
I've no knobs for outputs on my mixers because I use the Final mix of Tracktion.

No, you're right. I've made only mono channels for the mixers on my site. I'm finishing (two weeks ?) a mixer with only stereo channels and I've begin (began, begun ?) a mixer with mono and stereo channels (one or two months), like the cmx 844
