Uhhh
i know this might sound stupid but how do you change all velocities of a certain group of notes on midi roll? I have nooo idea how to do it. I selected all, and dragged the velocity up and it didnt change all of them.

Select the group of notes. Switch to velocity view (press v). Drag the velocity slider in the properties area at the bottom. They all change.
T2 has support for changing the velocity for a group of notes as you expected in the midi editor.

Such as?glurgle wrote:Be warned though, changing velocities of multiple notes can have some unexpected results.

Sometimes I adjust velocity of groups with the slider.
The only thing I find weird about it is:
if I select some notes, lower the velocity to 60 for example with the slider, then grab the playback head and move it somewhere (usually I place it right before the notes so I can preview them), then I grab the velocity slider again, the values become relative. So when I grab the slider again, full velocity 127 will equal 60. It was odd to me at first but I guess I got used to it after so long.

Actually, that seams like a bug to me. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

No, it means you can select a bunch of notes, grab a velocity bar in the midi editor, and drag it down to change all the notes velocity at once. Just a bit easier and more intuitive.Neil G wrote:does that mean ghost clips.Beno wrote:Select the group of notes. Switch to velocity view (press v). While ghosts clips are a great idea (I love them in Logic) they are not implemented in T2.
Too much time and not enough to do....Scratch that...Reverse it.

I can verify the bug AD80 mentioned, as I've come across it quite a few times myself.
1. Select a group of notes
2. Change the velocity using e.g. the velocity input box or the slider. Keep the notes selected.
3. Change the velocity again. The new velocity will be relative to the previous velocity value you entered.
A workaround to this is to unselect the notes and then select them again before you change velocity a second or x number of times.
