Hi!

I'm testing EVE that came with CM magazine and I'm having crashes in Live4 when changing patches. But this only happens (at least until now)on the famous keys vol.1 bank. Anything I'm missing?

Thanks in advance, and great sounds btw...if this works within live I'm getting that tasty moog bank.

unfortunately the version 1.24 was not updated to work in Live4, (you may change preset from Live menu though)

from 1.4h on EVE menu is fully compatible with Live4,

after 1.8 update for EVE, I may release a small update for the CM EVE version, but I can't promise right now

I have a similar problem in Sonar3 with CM EVE/FK1. The culprit is the Silver Surfer patch. It seems to refer to a soundset in the core banks that doesn't ship with the CM version.

After loading that, the whole plugin gets to be a bit berserk - only playing in left channel on certain patches, scratchy noises - until it eventually crashes.

Hi,

yes if you use a preset which ask for a soundset
which you don't have in the EVE Data folder, better you restart EVE and never use that preset,
(as you actually can-t play it)

this may happen with CM EVE and FK1 since you don't have all default SoundSets,

and FK1 bank possibly uses a few of the defauft factory sets besides its own FK1 sounds

you may purge the bank from those presets and resave it under a different name,

or just buy EVE for only 40 euro/ 50 USD, <wink>
