Hello
I know that many virtual artists use a lot VB-1 and I actually find it very punchy and full vst for bass.
But my sound is still not as good as it suppose to be :(
I know that it is necessary to apply hipass filter at around 60 hz and also apply lowpass to remove some high frequencies but it still sounds not as gud as the pro.
I also use a bit of compression on it cuz I dont want all the frequencies pop up and apply psp mix bass as an enchancer.
Is there is any fixed procedure to follow when using vb1, maybe appling some Waves plugins on master channel or wtv?
I have also tried using Discovery v2.2, its a nice synth but somehow my bass doesnt sound very good when using Sine and Saw mixture at 80% ->Saw
I know its a best Nord Lead copycat and many artists use NL for bass lines

Please :help:

If you give an audio example I bet I could get you to hit that sound right on.

in addition to lo+hi eq cuts, I use a single eq band to create a big dip around 200hz. I can't say it's definitely 200hz but if you try it there first you'll find the best spot.

but that's just me.
