Can this be done--playing several softsynths at a time in Tracktion? There's only one MIDI indicator on the left, so I can't select more than one track to control. I tried running them in series all in one track, but that didn't work.
Is there any better documentation by the way? The skimpy help files that came with the program are not enough.

That should work.. alternatively put all the synths you wish to play in the same rack.
Easiest way is to start with one synth inserted on a track as normal, then r-click -> "wrap this filter in a new rack"
The racks area will appear automatically (you might want to press the "show one rack" button to get more working space) and you can now drag more synths into the rack in the normal way..
