You have got to use Rack Filters for multiple outputs.
See this tutorial : http://www.tracktionfaction.com/modules ... cle&sid=11

somehow i wasn't able to get it to work. i've done everythin, every little step in the tutorial, excep using drumatic (i use battery). there is no freakin sound!!! but when i click the cells in battery there is sound.
and i've got another question, a bit offtopic. how can i tell which is the c3 key in the midi editor?

Have you change the number of outputs in Battery 2 ? On Battery 1, default was one stereo output and every cells were outputing on it.
To use RF and multi outs with Battery 1, I had to redefine my kit to use several outputs (for exemple, 3 stero ones plus 2 mono ones) and reassign output on every cell.
I remember you have to close/reopen battery (delete, reassign the plug in) for the multi outs to take effect.
Then you create a rack, drop Battery in it and answer yes to auto-connect and voilà.

Tracktion handles multiple out instruments better than any other host I've used. Its easier and faster and more flexible. You can even stick the instrument and all effects inside one rack and connect everything in there. Once you know how to do it you'll see.
PS: "How do you know which is middle C?"
You have to zoom in on the piano roll and it'll give you lables for each key. You can zoom in by pulling on the arrow above the piano keys, or by just control-mousewheel with the cursor over the keys.

Thanks AD80~ I was just about to get defensive, and even pissed. But you beat me to it!
Sorry, but everytime i've given (ableton) Live a shot, i've gotten way more frustrated than having to do some setup "templates" for whatever specific task i'm looking for. Especially with the impending release of T2, and an even better UI...

The problem isn't with Tracktion but with Battery on this particular point.
