im looking at getting the presonus fire pod adnn id like to run it with traktion, i was wondering if anyone else is doing this and if it works well. i noticed that the system requirements include, directSound or ASIO compatible audio interface, is this the presonus or will i need a seperate audio card, i will be running it on a PC laptop, as soon as i can find a company that will design and hopefully build a laptop for me that will work well with audio etc. in Australia
thanx in advance

Yes, the Presonus (like all/most cards today) has ASIO drivers. Looks like a good pick by the specs, I regret buying a card with only 1 I/O back in the days.
I receommend you spend some time with google to find out user experiences about the Presonus ASIO drivers. Drivers are usually the weak point in audiocards, especially with new products as companies tend to use buyers as beta-testers

One card you can try is the Audigy PC card. Sort of good drivers. The upside is that you can use it even when you are running on batteries. Ok price too about €130.
The downside is that the card is not supported on all notebooks.
It´s not a "PRO" card but might be ok for you.

Personally, I would hesitate to reccomend a Creative card to anyone for whom gaming was not an intended use..
