'expand or contract the current track height' suggestion

Could pressing 'h' (short cut for 'expand or contract the current track height') return the track back to the height it was before expansion?

At the moment it collapses it back to the default track height, which is invariable never the right height.

This is one of the fastest ways that screen space gets 'messy' and would make working quite a bit tidier.
