Is there a tutorial on the best way to master with Tracktion--like using that festive and somewhat confusing Mastering plugin?
I've heard of Music Concrete...is there Music Asphalt?

It would be the same way you master with pretty much everything. Do a search for "mastering tips" or "mastering help" on the main KvR forums and you're bound to turn up a few good threads, and the majority of those threads will have a few links to good off-site reading.

Hmmm....it's all greek to me. That mastering plugin that comes with Tracktion looks cool. I guess it's more of an experimentation thing?

sorry I was probably a little unclear. What I was saying is that FinalMix does pretty much the same thing as most other mastering plugs. In this case there's a Multiband compressor and a pre/post (before and after compressor) EQ as well as some limiting/tape saturation features. I'd say experimenting is the best idea, but that's my method with pretty much everything. If you want to read more about EQ and compression and what they do, there's a wealth of info on those subjects already. Searching the forum will turn up a load of good reading.

There is a link to the FinalMix manual(PDF) on the Tracktion v1 page.
