Rack presets?

I was just curious is there is a way to share rack presets. I'm not too inventive myself and it would be great if you could download user-created rack presets.
Also, maybe T2 could ship with some?

just create an empty edit, and put your rack preset on one of the tracks.
save that edit as an archive, and you now have a shareable file for your rackpreset!

I was referring to users being able to share their presets, like synth patches. That would be cool.haydxn wrote:just create an empty edit, and put your rack preset on one of the tracks.

yeah, that's how you do it. the archive is a tiny file, and all the user has to do is load it up in tracktion. the rack preset will be sat on the track, and then you simply add it to your presets.
i got well into writing a program to share presets before i discovered this; any other method is pointless, this method works perfectly well and has the advantage of allowing the creator to demonstrate how to set it up effectively in an edit. you can, of course, save multiple rackpresets in a single edit. and even example audio. of course, without audio you get smaller files.
it IS what you're looking for
there is nothing else and nothing better
