What's not fully functional with Final Mix? Seems to work for me - though when I get into memory crunch issues, the factory supplied presets seem to disappear, even though I can load my own.

BTW, the plugins for T don't seem all that interesting to me, if I can buy without, that's what I'm doing.

RMIV question: Are there nice acoustic, non TR-303, non electronica, non dance non hip hop kits for it? Will these be included in the lite version with T? I'd like a nice folk acoustic kit: cajon, congas with brushes, shakers, etc. The last thing I need is yet another TR style drum machine sound set.

Sloppy english on my part  , I meant that these new plugs wouldn't be fully functional UNLIKE Final Mix which clearly is.

I'm a big eXT fanboy, it has to be said. However, I really need tempo automation and time-signature support and I just sense that it's a long way away. And Jorgen has an FR list longer than... well... a very... long... thing...

But eXT is probably the fastest when I just want to get in there and input VSTs, notes etc.

I'm hoping the new MIDI-editing functionality in T2 will be more intuitive. They're fine as it is, but I find when editing MIDI in T1 it can be a bit awkward, with notes resizing if I don't click on them in quite the right position etc.

As of the way it stands, the versions of the plugs mentioned are exactly as they are mentioned.

Beno has stated(although the contract wasn't final yet) that RMIV is the FULL version, with all the kits, but it will only work with Tracktion.

Amplitube LE is a limited version of the full Amplitube. I have LE already, and it still has some fantastic sounds. For example, it has only three cabinet types, instead of all of the ones in the full version.

Sampletank LE is pretty much Sampletank 1 with a limited sample set. Don't get me wrong, the version of LE that I have has a really decent sound set with it. So it does add value.

And for Slayer 2, there's no reason to believe it's not the full version. It's not an expensive plug anyway. Plus, it's been out for a while, so it can be offered without harming REFX too much.

To me, all this adds value. If you don't want the plugs, I think it would be nice to have a version without the plugs.

Then it's not the full version of RM IV.
The full version of RMIV works in many/most vst/i hosts. This version of RMIV for T2 only works in Tracktion.

Which is fine and all, but it is not the full version of RMIV.
