Anybody know of any Classic Sampler impulse responses?

Can someone point me to a link for the appropriate test tone sound file? I've never bothered with convolution before because my machine was to slow to handle it, but now I have all the pieces for a brand-spanking-new Athlon 64 3400 right here, just waiting to be assembled
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Hi deastman,
Check out this page:
http://www.voxengo.com/deconvolver/
That little program can generate the test tones and then convert your captured recordings into IR files that a convolution processor wants to work with. It's also possible to use a Dirac pulse as the test signal, but there are complications with that technique.
To learn more about the whole IR capture process, visit http://www.noisevault.com and check out the information and forums at that site.
take care,
McLilith
