* Possiblity to have several tracks 'per' track so i dont have to overlap objects (like logic =), very good way to organize clips.

* When "loop" is active, show this on the mark in\mark out lines by changing thier color or fatten them a little.

* Add track button below last track

* Save\Load effect lines as racks, and ability to load linear racks as effect lines, like logic 7.
(even if racks is a more powerful function it isnt as intuitive)

* Mute clips

* Double click on a filter disables it

* Next\previous preset buttons for filters, and but them on the bar next to the lock and hide buttons!

* You shouldnt have to click\select a clip before being able to move it

* Zoombox by holding for example alt+ctrl button, then holding alt+ctrl and clicking should zoom out again. I find tracktion very poor in handling vertical scrolling, a zoombox would make this better.

* But the clicktrack options on\near the clickbutton.

* Dont resize the wave display when a clip is selected.

* Hide the ten button to the left and put something useful there, you never use the buttons so they could be hidden in a menu somewhere, maybe track options could be but here instead.

* Maybe a litte trashcan somewhere would smoothen the drag\drop interface a little more.

* Also, the groove quantize function is great, its just that its in a separate window so it cant be used "in realtime", but it in the midiclip option, where there are space available

* And i forgot =),, convert sustainpedal to length of notes =)

Well?? You'll have to wait for a couple of weeks. Then version two will go public, and you'll see weather anything you want to be improved is in there.

Hey Viktor,
Thanks for the suggestions. Some are really good. Some we've heard before. Some I disagree. And most are not easy to implement.

But one already works. You can edit your groove template in real time. Simply select a templeat for a clip, start your edit playing in a loop, and open the groove templates window and your edits will be heard in real time as tracktion loops.

Out of all of those suggestions, 2 are stand-outs for me:

1. Tracks within tracks, also called Track Folders. I would really like this.

2. Non-resizing of waveforms when selected. If they maintain their aspect ratio, it's much easier to line them up with other waveforms.

One that didn't seem to make sense for me was the trash bin. Why drag and drop when you can quickly just press "del" or "ctrl+m"? Faster than dragging and dropping, really.

Another one I could see myself using is "mute clips", though it's not TOO inconvenient to just drag a volume filter and turn it down to 0. ;)

Doesn't work on MIDI clips though does it?
* Add track button below last track
<CNTRL> T

Selsct the filter & press "f"
I find tracktion very poor in handling vertical scrolling
Hover the mouse over the inputs or filters areas, and use the wheel.

Dunno, never tried it with MIDI clips. <laff>

Regarding the scrolling-- I find ANY kind of scrolling (horiz. or vertical) to be extremely smooth, easy, and intuitive. It just takes a few seconds to recognize what the controls are and you're off to the races.
