I've just upgraded my hard disk, partly in order to accommodate the multiple SampleTank libraries I've acquired of late. I bought a new 160GB Seagate Barracuda to replace the old 60GB Barracuda I had, and used Ghost 2003 to clone the old disk to the new one. Astonishingly (to me anyway!) it worked like a charm, and the PC booted up without any complaints from Windows XP (which is what I was most concerned about).
Then I started Cubase SX and...it appears SampleTank 2 thinks I have a new digital ID, and I have to use another of my 3 authorization codes to get it working again; all for being a loyal buyer of SampleTank libraries. It doesn't seem fair, particularly as Windows XP had no problem with the swap.
Grrrr...
