I am trying to find a way to filter out program change reception. I have some software that insists on sending program changes, and it is driving me crazy having my plug ins repeatedly resetting. This seems like a pretty basic function, so it must be here somewhere...please?

After recording or importing, just select the MIDI clip. Click on "Insert program change", then choose "remove all program-change messages from this clip". That should do it.

I've seen that capability, but that's not what I'm after. That won't work in this case.
If I am not currently recording, but am sending MIDI from another application to a soft synth within tracktion, the synth will reset to the program change that is coming in live. I don't want this to happen. I want Tracktion to ignore the incoming program changes.

You on a pc? I should be able to knock up a Synthedit plug to do the job if so..

well, I figure I can use third party software...I was hoping that I could do it within Tracktion.
But if I have to set up midiOX or Bidule (easy filtering it out there) to do it I will.
