Sorry to sound ignorant here...but how do I actually use it? Where am I placing this dll file? The old Tackywrapper had an executable in a directory within the Tracktion directory.

this is just a plugin... put it with the rest of your plugins! :D
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Yes, it's a Tackybrowser rather than a Tackywrapper. I shove mine on an empty track, though Mod says that the Master area is as good a place as any. ;)

Thanks. I'll give it a whirl...

Ok, that's just I thought that should be interesting to do a drag and drop feature in a project I'm doing with Juce, but I don't know if it's possible...

I'm sure asking for an OSX port is out of the question :(
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

unless i´m stupid and seriously missing something there seems to be a fairly major bug. the browser doesnt display folders which have a "customized" icon, at least in windows XP. Funnily enough my folder with all my samples is not a normal folder but one like the My Music folder (ie it has a little musical note in it)

is there a way round this? can you fix it?

Post

thanks for pointing that out.. a new release is up and that issue is now sorted. Custom folder icons are working fine now... sorry for the oversight.

This release also includes a vst effect and vst instrument version (for the cubaseheads.. tho we all know they should be using Tracktion damnit!)

woohoo! working now, thanks very much. :)

Very cool tool... but it loads my root directory (my computer) VERY slowly. Everything else works fast. Is it something wrong on my side?

very, very cool and useful tool !

i would like to see the file type filter in the ini, so i could add things like *.mp3 for dragging directly into my host, any chance we'll be seeing this in future? and possibly mp3 playback support ?

thanks...

Post

@bob... odd that it loads the root dir so slow. Honestly, it's pretty hard to determine what is causing it as I can't replicate it here. :(

@ eLy... I'll look into adding a search mask. MP3 playback probably won't happen tho (unless I find some delphi component that can hanlde it easily).

the ability to delete files and make folders would also be really nice.
