Hello Urs, hello rest of you ;)
"(The user manual is still for version 1.0. A full Zebra 1.5 manual will follow shortly)"
??? ? No prob, I think I got everything now, except...

is there a master tune parameter? If yes, I didn't find it.
I mean a patch independent one - I was working with life musicians again lately who insisted as usual on their 443 Hz tuning; Would be great if I could adjust it globally in Zebra.. Or even better, if Zebra would be aware ot Logic's global instrument tuning Preference value.

What Do you say?
Best wishes

As far as I know there isn't.

But you can tune every OSC one cent down... of course if you have 20 presets to do that on it's not very practical.

I think in Logic 7 there is an option to globally tune the instruments, but my suspicion is that it's only for the Logic internal instruments. I could be wrong on this.

that's what I meant, i guess that there might be a way for AU Instruments to access this global tune information, but they won't be in tune all by themselves, at least Zebra doesn't, nor does e.g. the Ivory piano.

Now I did retune every osc in every patch... not too amusing;)

Sorry, I've been off a few days. Just came home. So, only a quick answer:

Yeah, I didn't think of a global tuning parameter. I'll implement it in Zebra 2, along with alternative tunings.

Regarding the manual: I have a fact-based suspicion that somebody is working heavily on it :D

This is a total hack, but could you insert the Logic Pitch Shifter II on the Zebra track? It will adjust up to +/- 13 semitones in 1 cent increments.

I thoght of that too, but the sound.... yak...

But maybe for speed it works.

Well, you could also create an empty Midi Region, insert a small amount of PitchWheel (Pitchbend has a resolution of 8192 steps - it's finer than Cents!) and copy that all over the place. - I suppose PitchBend is typically +/- 2 semitones in 99% of the presets.

If you need PitchBend within the tracks, I think one could come up with an environment thingy that adds the amount to the PitchWheel.
