Tracktion Software

I´ve just bought a Hades Music VMC-207 midi control surface unit and at the moment seems like it doesn´t receive any midi message at all from Traction. Does Traction support control surfaces? Will T2?

Your control surface doesn't receive messages FROM Tracktion? Or Tracktion won't respond to your control surface?

You should be able to control most plug-ins fine, especially if they have MIDI learn, but you can't control Tracktion itself with a controller just yet.

According to the website, T2 will offer fairly extensive controller interface customization! I don't have a 'real' controller so I'm not too worried yet, but that's good to know for when I get around to getting one.

This is a really big one for me. Not beeing able to use my Mackie control with T really makes me not really want to use it. When you get used to working with a real control surface the thought of going back to mouse and keyboard seems daunting.

Well, in a month you can use the Mackie Control with T2 to your hearts content.

Yes, in fact when they announced controller support, people were worried that it was going to be ONLY Mackie controls (foolishly), so I'm sure T2 will be not only Mackie-control enabled, but even customized for them.

So T1 does not suppor control surfaces and T2 will Is that right? but only Mackie? What about the others? The thing is that the Hades one is got a Midi learn function built in to make life easier...
Should I wait for T2? I don´t like the idea to use a different sequencer, I love Tracktion.

As anounced there is a midi learn in T2, as well as standard MMC transport control.
