Tracktion+UAD PreFlex automation = lock-up.

Damnit! It did it -again- while playing an automated section using the PreFlex after I flashed the BIOS, set the PCI_GMT to 64 and after I set the PCI Latency to 64 with DoubleDog.


I am 99% sure this is strictly UAD related because I can dork off in Reason-land (I should edit the post above about working in the Reason-only world, I forgot I had a LA2A on the master output) without error but when I bring in some UAD1 plugs things can go south randomly.

What version of UAD-1 software are you running? Also, is your audio interface PCI or Firewire? What brand? What's your CPU usage on the UAD-1 when when working on a particular Tracktion song?

UAD Software: 3.8

Audio interface: Aardvark LX6, PCI.

The CPU usage dosen't seem to be connected to the lockups, it can be at poop (10% even) and still go south.

Man, it may be worth doing some searches on the the Nuendo Forum if you haven't already.

Very knowledgable guys over there when it comes to UAD-1.
