A bit of Ambience, Endorphin and NyquistEQ on it, that's all.
Any thoughts peeps?
Fair enuff, it's at 120bpm and I was toying with the idea of slowing it to 100bpm (some of the parts were recorded at that tempo anyway, so it would probably sound more natural, I'm just a speed demonYossarian wrote:I like this – makes me feel good about having just ordered ManyStation.![]()
Two comments:
1. The tempo – seeing as it’s a lullaby I think this tune would work better if you turned it down a notch.
Okidoki, the snare is a tad contentious from comments I've received already so I'll have a look into a mellower snare sound.Yossarian wrote: 2. The drums – again, for a lullaby they’re a bit too busy for my taste and the snare sound is a tad too intrusive. You might want to try something a bit more subdued – maybe a side stick?
Thanks, and sweet Manystation-esque dreamsYossarian wrote: Hmmm, maybe it’s working as a lullaby after all – I feel a bit drowsy. Off to bed.![]()

Yeah, that's exactly where I was going this track, especially that lead soundknockman wrote:oh boy!
i'm loving this influx of manystation pieces - they're heightening my excitement for the morrow.
some beautiful sounds there, it's reminiscent of 1970's BBC2 intermission music, which i loved - at school we would occasionally watch a science education program; it's around 11 in the morning, eminating from the school kitchen are the first wafts of cooking, the teacher's set up the av equipment and there's a one minute countdown on the screen with a title like 'television for schools follows shortly' and they're playing the most dream inducing music - by the time the program's started my head's drifted off out the window and so on down through the years. ahh! happy timesi'm just happy i've pre- ordered this thing.
thanks for the memories

It's allowed to sound awful.
Yeah, I hear that too, in the harsh non alcoholic light of day... Will doDonkey Tugger wrote: The bottom end (missus) of yer acoustic geetar is getting mudded a lot wiht the bass there m'boy. El donko recommends 250 cut in said geetar.
I forgot to say the rest sounds fine, i just think it was the wrong sample choice for those two sounds for this particular tunegriels wrote:Yeah, they're not sitting right now I listen today on speakers (tweaked the mix late last night on phones).Kriminal wrote:the kick and snare sound awful
