Hi, Urs.

I just downloaded beta verson of filterscape VST OSX.

everything seems working fine but
when I try to save patch I got error.

I have Cubase SX3 on G5 2x2.

I was making some sound on filterscape VA. and I clicked on
load first click on user bank, then clicked store. I give it a name and pressed Apply.
seems fine.

second time I did samething but I just clicked on store without going to
load first. then I gave it a name and pressed apply and BOOM.
CubaseSX quits.

so I tried again. same thing. click on store button gave it a name
and apply. this time cubase freezed. I had to force quit application.

Do you think this is bug?

and one more thing.

I was playing while I was changing settings. then when I changed
filter type(12db,24db,36db) I hear big click sound.
is it normal?
I tried same thing on AU version and the click was either very soft or
none.

but other than those
filterscape seems rock.
I like it very much. :)

Hmmm, it used to store fine here...

Can you send me the Cubase SX.crash.log to urs[at]u-he.com?

Regarding the clicks I think it's almost impossible not to get any when changing the filter structure while you play. If they are really bad in a particular patch, please send me that patch and I'll investigate it.

Cheers,

;) Urs

it's not crashing anymore. :D

do you still need cubase crash log file?

or I'll just send you email next time if I find something similar.

thanks Urs, for fast update.

No, no need for the crash log... it was an obvious bug, but one of those which do not necessarily crash.

However, it'd be great to get crash logs whenever stuff like that happens :)

Cheers,

;) Urs
