You are not required to disable ARC upon export. On or Off, it will still export the true file (which is ARC-disabled).dmbaer wrote:I have a question on the use of ARC within T-Racks 5. The documentation is silent on this point. I would hope that if one does an export when ARC is enabled that the exported audio is not affected by the ARC processing. But, as I said, the documentation does not say one way or the other.
Can anyone confirm that ARC will not affect an export? Or do you need to remember to turn ARC off when exporting, as is required in some DAWs?
I will relay the comment about how it would be great to have this in the user manual...

schris.r wrote:Also question on the new Leslie. What is the difference between T-RackS and Amplitube version, in practice?
They have the same features but work have the workflow of whichever program in which Leslie is run and function as part of the chain of either AmpliTube or T-RackS as other amps/cabs or processors, respectively, would run in the appropriate product.

While I see the Leslie as a fantastic edition to the set of T-Racks effects...Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:schris.r wrote:Also question on the new Leslie. What is the difference between T-RackS and Amplitube version, in practice?

I've gotta say, I can't imagine a use of it where I would be running it in the standalone as part of a mastering chain.

T-racks chains don't have to be just for mastering, and giving it tools like the Leslie and the tape echo and reverbs makes it more useful in that regard. I'd like to see all the effects available in Syntronik available in T-racks actually.

Thats what I'm saying. I think it could be incredible useful strapped to an instrument in a DAW, chichis where I'd use it.braj wrote:T-racks chains don't have to be just for mastering, and giving it tools like the Leslie and the tape echo and reverbs makes it more useful in that regard. I'm just musing over the use of it in the standalone.

My fear is IK will do something insane and charge $99 for a flanger.

So, did anyone get the Leslie T-racks yet?
Edit: I just realized it is pre-order and so not in anyone's hands yet.

I do not think that Gear Credits can be used on any Pre-Order - the price is already discounted. But you can use JamPoints (up to 30% of the pre-order price)

I've used credits on pre-orders in the past. YMMVDarkStar wrote:I do not think that Gear Credits can be used on any Pre-Order - the price is already discounted. But you can use JamPoints (up to 30% of the pre-order price)

You can also use gear credits to buy jam points, and then jam points to get the item, as long as the pre-order is available in the custom shop.

lolwut? i think it's the other way around - you can use jam points to get discounted price on gear credits. you can't "buy" jam points - they're only added to your account once you activate a product.braj wrote:You can also use gear credits to buy jam points
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Really hope we'll see the GUI update with the Leslie release.
