Good question. I wanted to ask the same in the past but always forgot about it again.kurviak wrote:Does anyone knows if KOMPLETE ELEMENTS MK2 for Presonus can be transferred to another user?
I have just bought the full Komplete 9 Licence and so no need the elements licence any longer.

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

See new transfer info at http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 0#p6118040DJMaytag wrote:It took a little while for both parties to reach Andy at Cytomic, but once we reached him, the transfer process was pretty quick. No fees, no NFR, but you WILL only be considered a license holder and not a customer until you purchase a product directly from Cytomic (thus not be eligible for a 30% discount on a second Cytomic product.)
Makes total sense why Andy would do this. In my case, I hold a The Glue license and can't get 30% off of The Drop.
Hope this helps anyone looking to transfer a Cytomic product!

Big Tick allows license transfer charging no fee, but the license becomes NFR.

Did you crossgrade the Elements to get a discount on K9? If so then no, they are tied together.murnau wrote:Good question. I wanted to ask the same in the past but always forgot about it again.kurviak wrote:Does anyone knows if KOMPLETE ELEMENTS MK2 for Presonus can be transferred to another user?

Presonus for Reselling Studio One:
Whether you want to freely give away or sell your copy of Studio One, the EULA (End User License Agreement) allows for the permanent transfer of your license to another person. To do this, you need only complete the PDF form available below and email it to s1transfer@presonus.com . Please read the following stipulations regarding license transfer before completing the form:
- License Transfer requests will be processed in 5 business days of the request being received, and both the original owner and new owner will receive verification of the transfer via email.
- The new owner must have a registered and activated user account for the transfer to take place.
- License transfer is permanent, and cannot be undone.
- You are legally required to remove any installation of, as well as any installers, your computers after transferring your license.
- It is not possible to transfer a license that has been used as part of an upgrade to another license. This includes, but is not limited to:
Pro Version 1 after upgrading to Version 2
Artist after upgrading to any other version
NFR (Not For Resale) Licenses can not be transferred

Komplete Elements is registered separately with Native Instruments. Thus, it can also be transferred separately. Just ask the NI support to release the serial number from your account.murnau wrote:Good question. Does anyone know the potential hazards of selling an entire iLok account (with iLok1 key, obviously changing the registered email address for the account to that of the new owner)?
I really don't want my key any more, so it's sitting in a box doing nothing. Seems a waste, but the fees for transferring all the licenses from it (Flux Syrah (32/64-bit), Sonnox Limiter/Inflator/EQ/Compressor (32-bit only, native, stopped working on OS X after Mavericks changed something in the framework), URS Strip (32-bit, native, plus it never worked on OS X beyond SL for me), Eventide Ultrachannel (32/64-bit, native), Pro Audio DSP Dynamic Spectrum Mapper (v1, 32-bit only) would be stupid. And, Flux and Eventide aside, they all require buying an iLok2 to upgrade.
So, ideally, if there's somebody who still uses 32-bit plugins (on an older system), I'd be more than happy to sell this to them for around £200. Maybe less. I'd just like to know the buyer isn't likely to get screwed by any of the developers named above.
